세상을 살다 보면 누구에게나 한 번쯤은 무언가를 크게 가지는 순간이 찾아온다.
돈을 많이 벌었을 때, 사람들의 인정을 받았을 때, 좋은 자리에 올랐을 때,
실력이 무르익어 세상이 나를 알아보기 시작할 때,
혹은 오랫동안 바라던 기회가 한꺼번에 몰려올 때가 그렇다.
그 순간 사람은 기쁘다.
마치 하늘이 내 편이 된 것 같고, 세상이 드디어 나를 인정해 준 것처럼 느껴진다.
하지만 주역은 아주 조용히 묻는다.
“그대는 크게 가진 뒤, 그것을 어떻게 쓸 것인가?”
바로 이 질문을 던지는 괘가 주역 64괘 중 제14괘, 대유괘(大有卦)이다.
As we go through life, there comes a moment for everyone when we come to possess something great.
It may be when we earn a great deal of money, when we gain recognition from others, or when we rise to
a good position.
It may also be when our skills have fully matured and the world finally begins to recognize us,
or when long-awaited opportunities suddenly come rushing in all at once.
At that moment, a person feels joy.
It feels as if heaven itself is on one’s side, and as if the world has finally acknowledged one’s worth.
But the I Ching quietly asks:
“After you have come to possess something great, how will you use it?”
The hexagram that raises this very question is Hexagram 14 of the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching:
Da Yu, the Hexagram of Great Possession (大有卦).
1. 대유괘란 무엇인가?
대유(大有)는 글자 그대로 풀이하면 “크게 있다”, “크게 소유하다”, “큰 풍요를 얻다”는 뜻이다.
여기서 말하는 ‘가짐’은 단순히 재물만을 뜻하지 않는다.
재물, 권력, 명예, 인기, 재능, 지식, 사람, 기회, 운, 영향력까지 모두 포함한다.
즉 대유괘는 인생에서 풍요와 성취가 크게 열리는 때를 상징한다.
그러나 이 괘가 말하는 진짜 핵심은 “많이 가진다”가 아니다.
더 중요한 것은 이것이다.
“많이 가진 사람이 얼마나 바르게 쓰는가.”
작게 가진 사람은 실수해도 영향이 작다.
그러나 크게 가진 사람은 한 번의 선택이 많은 사람에게 영향을 미친다.
좋은 리더가 큰 힘을 가지면 세상을 이롭게 하지만,
욕심 많은 사람이 큰 힘을 가지면 주변을 불행하게 만든다.
그래서 대유괘는 단순한 성공의 괘가 아니라,
성공 이후의 태도를 묻는 괘라고 할 수 있다.
1. What Is the Hexagram Da Yu?
Da Yu (大有), when translated literally, means “to possess greatly,” “to have something in abundance,”
or “to gain great prosperity.”
The “possession” spoken of here does not refer only to material wealth.
It includes wealth, power, honor, popularity, talent, knowledge, people, opportunities, luck, and influence.
In other words, the Hexagram Da Yu symbolizes a time in life when abundance and achievement open
up in a great way.
However, the true essence of this hexagram is not simply “having a lot.”
What matters more is this:
“How rightly does a person use what they have greatly received?”
A person who possesses little may make mistakes, but the impact of those mistakes is small.
But a person who possesses much can affect many people with a single decision.
When a good leader holds great power, they can benefit the world.
But when a greedy person holds great power, they can bring unhappiness to those around them.
That is why Da Yu is not merely a hexagram of success.
It is a hexagram that asks about one’s attitude after achieving success.
2. 대유괘의 괘상
대유괘는 위에 화(火), 아래에 **천(天)**이 있는 모습이다.
괘상으로 표현하면 다음과 같다.
화천대유(火天大有)
위에는 불, 아래에는 하늘.
불은 밝음이다.
하늘은 크고 넓은 힘이다.
하늘 위에 태양이 밝게 떠 있는 모습이라고 보면 이해하기 쉽다.
넓은 하늘 위에 밝은 태양이 떠오르면 온 세상이 환해진다.
숨겨진 것이 드러나고, 어두웠던 길도 보이며, 사람들은 그 빛을 따라 움직인다.
그래서 대유괘는 빛나는 성공, 드러나는 명예, 넓게 퍼지는 영향력을 상징한다.
하지만 태양은 혼자만을 위해 빛나지 않는다.
태양은 높은 곳에서 모든 존재를 비춘다.
이것이 대유괘의 중요한 가르침이다.
큰 것을 가진 사람은 태양처럼 넓게 비추어야 한다.
나만 배부르기 위해 가진 것이 아니라,
나와 함께 있는 사람들까지 살리기 위해 가져야 한다.
2. The Structure of the Hexagram Da Yu
The Hexagram Da Yu has Fire (火) above and Heaven (天) below.
In terms of its hexagram image, it is expressed as:
Fire over Heaven — Da Yu (火天大有)
Fire is above.
Heaven is below.
Fire represents brightness.
Heaven represents a vast and powerful force.
It is easy to understand this image as a bright sun shining high above the wide-open sky.
When a radiant sun rises over the vast heavens, the whole world becomes bright.
What was hidden is revealed, dark paths become visible, and people begin to move by following that light.
For this reason, the Hexagram Da Yu symbolizes shining success, visible honor, and influence that
spreads far and wide.
However, the sun does not shine only for itself.
The sun shines from above upon all beings.
This is one of the most important teachings of Da Yu.
A person who possesses something great must shine broadly, like the sun.
One should not possess things merely to satisfy oneself.
One should possess them in order to help even those who live and walk together with them.
3. 왜 대유괘는 ‘큰 부자’의 괘가 아니라 ‘큰 그릇’의 괘인가?
대유괘를 처음 보면 많은 사람이 이렇게 생각할 수 있다.
“아, 이 괘는 돈을 많이 버는 괘구나.”
“재물운이 크게 들어오는 괘구나.”
“성공하고 출세하는 괘구나.”
물론 그런 의미도 있다.
대유괘는 분명히 풍요와 성취의 기운을 담고 있다.
하지만 주역은 단순히 “많이 가져라”라고 말하지 않는다.
주역이 더 깊이 말하는 것은 그릇의 크기다.
작은 그릇에 큰 물을 부으면 넘친다.
작은 마음에 큰 권력을 주면 교만해진다.
작은 욕심에 큰 재물을 주면 다툼이 생긴다.
작은 인격에 큰 명예를 주면 사람을 함부로 대하게 된다.
그래서 대유괘는 말한다.
크게 가지려면 먼저 크게 담을 수 있는 사람이 되어야 한다.
진짜 대유는 통장 잔고만 큰 사람이 아니다.
진짜 대유는 사람을 품는 마음이 크고, 기회를 나누는 시야가 크고,
성공 앞에서도 자신을 낮출 줄 아는 사람이다.
그러므로 대유괘의 풍요는 단순한 ‘소유’가 아니라 품격 있는 소유다.
3. Why Is Da Yu Not a Hexagram of a “Great Rich Person,”
but a Hexagram of a “Great Vessel”?
When people first encounter the Hexagram Da Yu, many may think:
“Ah, this must be a hexagram about making a lot of money.”
“It must mean great financial fortune is coming in.”
“It must be about success and rising to a high position.”
Of course, it does contain such meanings.
Da Yu certainly carries the energy of abundance and achievement.
But the I Ching does not simply say, “Possess a great deal.”
What the I Ching speaks of more deeply is the size of one’s vessel.
When a large amount of water is poured into a small vessel, it overflows.
When great power is given to a small mind, arrogance arises.
When great wealth is given to small greed, conflict begins.
When great honor is given to a small character, that person may begin to treat others carelessly.
That is why Da Yu says:
If you wish to possess something great, you must first become someone who can contain it
greatly.
True Da Yu is not a person whose bank balance is merely large.
True Da Yu is a person whose heart is large enough to embrace others, whose vision is wide
enough to share opportunities,
and who knows how to humble themselves even in the face of success.
Therefore, the abundance of Da Yu is not simple “possession.”
It is possession with dignity.
4. 대유괘가 우리 삶에 나타나는 순간
대유괘의 기운은 삶 속에서 여러 모습으로 나타난다.
사업을 하는 사람에게는 매출이 크게 오르는 시기일 수 있다.
직장인에게는 승진이나 중요한 프로젝트를 맡는 시기일 수 있다.
학생에게는 실력이 인정받고 좋은 성과를 내는 때일 수 있다.
예술가에게는 작품이 세상에 알려지는 시기일 수 있다.
블로그나 유튜브를 하는 사람에게는 콘텐츠가 주목받고 구독자나 방문자가 늘어나는 때일 수도 있다.
그동안 쌓아온 것이 빛을 받는 순간, 사람들이 나의 가치를 알아보기 시작하는 순간,
내가 가진 것이 남들에게도 영향력을 미치기 시작하는 순간.
그때가 바로 대유괘의 시간이다.
하지만 이때 가장 조심해야 할 것이 있다. 바로 교만이다.
대유괘의 때에는 일이 잘 풀리기 때문에 사람은 자칫 착각하기 쉽다.
“내가 잘나서 된 것이다.”
“이제 나는 실패하지 않을 것이다.”
“다른 사람들은 나보다 부족하다.”
“내 말이 곧 정답이다.”
이런 마음이 들기 시작하면 대유괘의 밝은 태양은 점점 뜨거운 불길로 바뀐다.
빛은 사람을 살리지만, 불길은 사람을 태운다.
그래서 대유괘의 가장 큰 시험은 가난이 아니라 풍요 속의 겸손이다.
4. Moments When Da Yu Appears in Our Lives
The energy of the Hexagram Da Yu appears in many different forms in our lives.
For someone running a business, it may be a time when sales increase greatly.
For an office worker, it may be a time of promotion or being entrusted with an important project.
For a student, it may be a time when their abilities are recognized and they achieve excellent results.
For an artist, it may be a time when their work becomes known to the world.
For someone running a blog or YouTube channel, it may be a time when their content receives attention
and their subscribers or visitors increase.
The moment when everything one has built up begins to receive light,
the moment when people begin to recognize one’s value,
the moment when what one possesses begins to influence others as well—
that is the time of Da Yu.
However, there is one thing that must be guarded against most carefully at this time.
That is arrogance.
During the time of Da Yu, things tend to go well, and because of this, a person can easily fall into
illusion.
“It happened because I am great.”
“Now I will never fail.”
“Other people are not as capable as I am.”
“What I say is always the answer.”
When such thoughts begin to arise, the bright sun of Da Yu gradually turns into a scorching flame.
Light gives life to people,
but flames can burn them.
That is why the greatest test of Da Yu is not poverty, but humility in the midst of abundance.
5. 대유괘의 핵심 메시지
대유괘의 메시지를 한 문장으로 정리하면 이렇다.
“크게 가진 자는 크게 베풀어야 오래간다.”
세상에는 성공한 뒤 무너지는 사람이 많다.
처음에는 겸손했지만,
조금씩 인정받고 돈이 생기고 사람들이 따르기 시작하면 마음이 변한다.
말이 거칠어지고, 사람을 쉽게 판단하고, 자신을 도와준 사람을 잊고,
작은 충고도 듣지 않으려 한다.
주역은 이런 상태를 매우 경계한다.
대유괘에서 가장 중요한 덕목은 겸손한 밝음이다.
밝되 눈부시게 사람을 괴롭히지 않아야 하고,
강하되 남을 누르지 않아야 하며,
많이 가졌으되 혼자 움켜쥐지 않아야 한다.
큰 부자는 돈을 가진 사람이지만, 큰 사람은 사람의 마음을 얻은 사람이다.
대유괘는 우리에게 묻는다.
“그대가 가진 것은 누구를 살리고 있는가?”
5. The Core Message of the Hexagram Da Yu
The message of the Hexagram Da Yu can be summed up in one sentence:
“One who possesses greatly must give greatly, only then can it last.”
There are many people in the world who collapse after achieving success.
At first, they may have been humble.
But little by little, as they gain recognition, accumulate wealth, and people begin to follow them, their
hearts start to change.
Their words become harsh, they judge others too easily, they forget those who once helped them,
and they no longer listen even to small pieces of advice.
The I Ching strongly warns against such a state.
The most important virtue in the Hexagram Da Yu is humble brightness.
One must be bright, but not so dazzling that others are hurt by that light.
One must be strong, but not use that strength to suppress others.
One may possess much, but must not try to hold everything alone.
A great rich person is someone who possesses money,
but a truly great person is someone who has gained the hearts of others.
The Hexagram Da Yu asks us:
“Who is being brought to life by what you possess?”
6. 대유괘와 인간관계
대유괘가 인간관계에 나오면, 그 사람은 주변에서 주목받는 위치에 설 수 있다.
사람들이 의지하고, 조언을 구하고, 도움을 요청하고, 함께하고 싶어 한다.
하지만 이때도 중요한 것은 태도다.
내가 가진 것이 많다고 해서 상대를 아래로 보면 안 된다.
내가 더 알고 있다고 해서 상대의 말을 끊으면 안 된다.
내가 더 성공했다고 해서 타인의 아픔을 가볍게 여기면 안 된다.
대유괘의 인간관계는 빛을 나누는 관계여야 한다.
내가 조금 앞서 있다면 뒤에 오는 사람에게 길을 보여주고,
내가 조금 더 가지고 있다면 부족한 사람에게 손을 내밀고,
내가 조금 더 알고 있다면 모르는 사람에게 쉽게 설명해 주어야 한다.
이것이 대유괘가 말하는 진짜 큰 사람의 모습이다.
사람은 돈만 보고 오래 따르지 않는다.
사람은 결국 마음이 넓은 사람을 따른다.
6. Da Yu and Human Relationships
When the Hexagram Da Yu appears in relation to human relationships, it may indicate that the person
is standing in a position where they receive attention from those around them.
People may rely on them, seek their advice, ask for their help, and wish to be with them.
However, even at such a time, what matters most is one’s attitude.
Just because I possess more, I must not look down on others.
Just because I know more, I must not cut off another person’s words.
Just because I have achieved more success, I must not take another person’s pain lightly.
The human relationships of Da Yu must be relationships in which light is shared.
If I am a little ahead, I should show the path to those who are coming behind me.
If I possess a little more, I should extend my hand to those who are lacking.
If I know a little more, I should explain things kindly and clearly to those who do not yet know.
This is the true image of a great person as taught by Da Yu.
People do not follow someone for long simply because that person has money.
In the end, people follow someone whose heart is wide and generous.
7. 대유괘와 재물운
대유괘는 재물운으로 보면 매우 좋은 괘에 속한다.
수입이 늘거나, 투자 기회가 생기거나, 사업이 확장되거나,
오랫동안 묶여 있던 재물이 움직이거나, 내 능력이 돈으로 연결되는 흐름이 생길 수 있다.
그러나 대유괘의 재물운에는 반드시 조건이 붙는다.
첫째, 정당하게 얻어야 한다.
부당한 욕심, 편법, 과도한 무리수는 대유의 복을 오래 지키지 못하게 한다.
둘째, 관리가 중요하다.
많이 들어오는 시기일수록 새는 돈도 많아진다. 수입이 커졌다고 지출까지 함부로 키우면 풍요
는 금방 사라진다.
셋째, 나눔이 있어야 한다.
주역에서 큰 재물은 혼자만을 위한 것이 아니다. 가족, 직원, 동료, 사회와 조화롭게 흐를 때
재물의 기운이 오래간다.
대유괘는 이렇게 말한다.
돈은 쌓아두기만 하면 무거워지고, 바르게 흐르면 복이 된다.
7. Da Yu and Financial Fortune
When viewed in terms of financial fortune, the Hexagram Da Yu is considered a very favorable hexagram.
Income may increase, investment opportunities may arise, or a business may expand.
Wealth that has long been tied up may begin to move, or a new flow may emerge in which one’s abilities
become connected to money.
However, the financial fortune of Da Yu always comes with certain conditions.
First, it must be gained in a rightful way.
Unjust greed, shortcuts, and excessive risk-taking make it difficult to preserve the blessings of Da Yu
for long.
Second, management is important.
The more money comes in, the more money can also leak out.
If one carelessly increases spending simply because income has grown, abundance can disappear
quickly.
Third, there must be sharing.
In the I Ching, great wealth is not meant for oneself alone.
When it flows in harmony with family, employees, colleagues, and society, the energy of wealth lasts
longer.
Da Yu says this:
Money becomes heavy when it is only piled up, but when it flows rightly, it becomes a blessing.
8. 대유괘와 직장·사업
직장이나 사업에서 대유괘가 나오면, 좋은 기회가 열릴 가능성이 크다.
승진, 성과, 계약, 확장, 인정, 대표성, 리더 역할과 관련이 있다.
그동안 보이지 않던 노력이 드러나고, 윗사람이나 고객에게 신뢰를 얻고,
더 큰 일을 맡게 될 수 있다.
하지만 이때 주의할 점이 있다.
대유괘의 성공은 혼자 만든 것이 아니다.
내 능력도 중요하지만, 나를 도와준 사람, 함께 일한 사람, 기회를 준 사람,
묵묵히 뒤에서 받쳐준 사람들이 있었기 때문에 가능한 것이다.
그러므로 대유괘의 시기에는 공을 독차지하면 안 된다.
“내가 했다”보다 “우리가 해냈다”라고 말할 줄 알아야 한다.
그럴 때 대유괘의 성공은 더 커진다.
리더에게 대유괘가 나오면 특히 중요하다.
이때 리더는 강한 카리스마보다 밝은 공정함을 가져야 한다.
사람을 편애하지 않고, 능력 있는 사람을 알아보고, 성과를 공정하게 나누고,
조직 전체가 함께 성장하도록 만들어야 한다.
그것이 대유괘의 리더십이다.
8. Da Yu and Career or Business
When the Hexagram Da Yu appears in relation to one’s career or business, it often indicates that
good opportunities may open up.
It is connected with promotion, achievement, contracts, expansion, recognition, representation, and
leadership roles.
Efforts that had not been visible until now may finally come to light.
One may gain trust from superiors or customers,
and may be entrusted with greater responsibilities.
However, there is something to be careful about at this time.
The success of Da Yu is not something created by oneself alone.
Of course, one’s own ability is important.
But that success was also made possible because there were people who helped, people who
worked together,
people who gave opportunities, and people who quietly supported from behind.
Therefore, during the time of Da Yu, one must not take all the credit alone.
Rather than saying, “I did it,”
one should know how to say, “We accomplished it together.”
When one does so, the success of Da Yu becomes even greater.
This is especially important when Da Yu appears for a leader.
At such a time, a leader needs not strong charisma, but bright fairness.
They should not show favoritism.
They should recognize capable people, share achievements fairly,
and help the entire organization grow together.
That is the leadership of Da Yu.
9. 대유괘와 사랑
사랑에서 대유괘는 매력과 자신감이 커지는 시기를 뜻할 수 있다.
상대에게 좋은 인상을 주고,
나의 장점이 잘 드러나고,
관계가 풍요롭게 발전할 수 있다.
이미 연인이 있다면 서로에게 든든한 존재가 될 수 있고,
부부라면 경제적 안정이나 가정의 기반을 함께 키워가는 의미도 있다.
하지만 사랑에서도 대유괘의 경고는 같다.
많이 가진 사람이 상대를 압도하면 사랑은 작아진다.
돈이 많다고 상대를 지배하려 하거나, 능력이 있다고 상대를 가르치려 들거나,
내가 더 많이 해줬다고 상대에게 빚진 마음을 강요하면 관계는 무거워진다.
사랑은 소유가 아니다. 사랑은 빛을 함께 나누는 것이다.
대유괘의 사랑은 이렇게 말한다.
“내가 가진 것으로 너를 누르지 않고, 너를 더 빛나게 해주겠다.”
이 마음이 있을 때 대유괘의 사랑은 참으로 아름답다.
9. Da Yu and Love
In love, the Hexagram Da Yu may indicate a time when one’s charm and confidence grow stronger.
One may make a good impression on the other person,
one’s strengths may be revealed clearly,
and the relationship may develop in a rich and fulfilling way.
If one already has a lover, the two may become reliable and supportive presences for each other.
For a married couple, it may also signify building economic stability or strengthening the foundation
of the family together.
However, even in love, the warning of Da Yu remains the same.
When the person who possesses more overwhelms the other, love becomes smaller.
If one tries to control the other person simply because one has more money,
or tries to lecture them simply because one has greater ability,
or forces the other person to feel indebted because one has done more for them,
the relationship becomes heavy.
Love is not possession.
Love is sharing light together.
The love of Da Yu says this:
“I will not use what I possess to press you down.
Instead, I will help you shine even more brightly.”
When this heart is present,
the love of Da Yu becomes truly beautiful.
10. 대유괘와 건강
건강 면에서 대유괘는 기본적으로 기운이 왕성한 상태를 뜻한다.
활력이 있고,
움직임이 많고,
일을 추진할 에너지가 강하다.
그러나 문제는 ‘과다함’이다.
대유는 많다는 뜻이므로, 몸에서도 과잉이 문제가 될 수 있다.
과식, 과로, 과음, 과욕, 스트레스, 혈압, 열증, 심장 계통의 부담 등을 조심해야 한다.
불이 위에 있는 괘이기 때문에 몸에 열이 몰리는 현상으로도 해석할 수 있다.
따라서 대유괘의 건강 관리 핵심은 이것이다.
잘나갈 때 쉬어야 한다.
일이 잘될수록 더 달리고 싶어진다.
하지만 너무 밝은 불은 스스로를 태운다.
충분한 휴식, 규칙적인 식사, 가벼운 운동, 마음의 여유가 필요하다.
성공을 오래 누리려면 몸이라는 그릇도 함께 지켜야 한다.
10. Da Yu and Health
In terms of health, the Hexagram Da Yu basically indicates a state in which one’s energy is strong and
bundant.
There is vitality, there is much movement,and there is powerful energy to push things forward.
However, the issue is “excess.”
Since Da Yu means abundance or having much, excess can also become a problem in the body.
One should be careful of overeating, overwork, excessive drinking, excessive desire, stress, high blood
pressure, heat-related symptoms, and burdens on the heart.
Because this hexagram has Fire above, it may also be interpreted as a sign that heat gathers in the body.
Therefore, the key to health management in Da Yu is this:
One must rest when things are going well.
The better things go, the more one wants to keep running forward.
But a fire that burns too brightly can end up burning itself.
Sufficient rest, regular meals, light exercise, and peace of mind are needed.
If one wishes to enjoy success for a long time,
one must also protect the vessel called the body.
11. 대유괘가 주는 경고
대유괘는 좋은 괘다.
하지만 좋은 괘일수록 경고도 분명하다.
대유괘가 경계하는 것은 다음과 같다.
교만
내가 최고라는 생각이 들 때 위험하다.
독점
혼자만 가지려 하면 주변의 신뢰를 잃는다.
허세
실속보다 겉모습을 키우면 재물이 새어나간다.
과욕
이미 충분한데 더 무리하면 복이 화로 바뀐다.
불공정
큰 위치에 있는 사람이 공정하지 못하면 사람들의 마음이 떠난다.
결국 대유괘의 위험은 가난에서 오는 것이 아니라,
풍요를 감당하지 못하는 마음에서 온다.
크게 가진 뒤에도 작은 사람처럼 행동하면, 그 큰 것은 오래 머물지 않는다.
11. The Warning Given by Da Yu
Da Yu is a favorable hexagram.
However, the more favorable a hexagram is, the clearer its warning also becomes.
The Hexagram Da Yu warns us against the following:
Arrogance
It becomes dangerous when one begins to think, “I am the best.”
Monopoly
If one tries to possess everything alone, one loses the trust of those around them.
Vanity
If one enlarges outward appearance rather than inner substance, wealth begins to leak away.
Excessive greed
If one continues to push further even when one already has enough, blessings can turn into misfortune.
Unfairness
When a person in a high position fails to be fair, people’s hearts begin to leave.
In the end, the danger of Da Yu does not come from poverty.
It comes from a heart that cannot handle abundance.
If one continues to act like a small person even after possessing something great,
that greatness will not remain for long.
12. 대유괘의 지혜를 오늘의 삶에 적용한다면
오늘날 대유괘는 매우 현대적인 괘다.
우리는 돈, 정보, 영향력, 팔로워, 구독자, 직함, 부동산, 학력, 스펙, 네트워크를 중요하게
여기는 시대에 살고 있다.
누가 더 많이 가졌는가. 누가 더 높이 올라갔는가. 누가 더 크게 성공했는가.
세상은 끊임없이 비교하게 만든다.
하지만 주역은 비교의 눈을 잠시 내려놓게 한다.
그리고 묻는다.
“많이 가진 것이 그대를 더 좋은 사람으로 만들었는가?”
돈이 생긴 뒤 더 너그러워졌는가?
지위가 오른 뒤 더 공정해졌는가?
지식이 쌓인 뒤 더 쉽게 설명할 줄 알게 되었는가?
사람들이 따를수록 더 겸손해졌는가?

“This spring came from my field, so it all belongs to me.”
“If people want to drink this water, they must pay for it.”
