'붓' 천재 소년 황민호의 트롯에 반하다.("Falling for the Trot of Genius Boy Hwang Min-ho with 'Brush'')

2013년 10월 22일 생, 내 외손녀 최유빈과 같은 나이인 황민호의 노래에 빠져 버렸다.

 

Born on October 22, 2013, I found myself captivated by Hwang Min-ho's singing,

who is the same age as my granddaughter, Choi Yu-bin.

황민호는 아버지는 한국인이고 어머니는 베트남인인 다문화 가정의 자녀인데 아버지의

피를 이어받아 한국인의 얼을 잘 표현하는 장구의 신이기도 하다.

 

Hwang Min-ho is a child from a multicultural family, with a Korean father and a

Vietnamese mother. He has inherited his father's talent and is also known as a master

of the janggu, a traditional Korean drum, expressing the spirit of Koreans beautifully.

 

12살 어린나이에 마치 70대 할아버지가 빙의된 듯 가수 '강진'이 불렀던 곡을 황민호가

2025 한일 가왕전에서 리메이크하여 부른 노래인 '붓'은 많은 이들에게 감명을 준 곡이다.

 

At the young age of 12, as if embodying a 70-year-old grandfather, Hwang Min-ho

impressed many with his remake of the song "Brush," originally sung by singer Kang Jin,

at the 2025 Korea-Japan Singing Contest.

 

이제는 분단의 아픔과 고통에서 벗어나 남북이 화해하며 새로운 역사를 만들자는 트롯

가요 '붓'은 백두산 천지의 물을 먹물 삼아 한라산 구름을 화폭 삼아 새로운 대한민국을

예쁘게 그려 볼테니 붓을 빌려달라는 노래이다.

 

The trot song "Brush" conveys a message of healing and reconciliation, urging South

and North Korea to move past the pain and suffering of division and create a new

history together.

 

It metaphorically asks to lend a brush to beautifully paint a new Korea, using the waters

of Baekdu Mountain as ink and the clouds of Hallasan Mountain as the canvas.

 

마치 70년 된 견고한 바위가 갈라지며 시원한 약수를 뿜어내어 백두산에서 부터 한라산

까지 생명의 물줄기로 삼천리 강산을 촉촉히 적시자는 희망과 화합의 노래인 것이다.

 

The song is a hopeful and harmonious call to action, like a solid rock breaking after

70 years to release refreshing spring water, suggesting that the life-giving streams

from Baekdu to Hallasan will soak the land of Korea, bringing unity and life to the

entire peninsula.
